Publication Ethics

Jurnal Dinamika Administrasi dan Manajemen (JDAM) upholds the highest standards of publication ethics and is guided by the principles set forth by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). These ethical guidelines apply to all parties involved in the publication process: authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher.

For Authors:

  • Authors must submit original works that are free from plagiarism and have not been published elsewhere.

  • All sources must be properly cited, and any use of others’ data, text, or ideas must be appropriately acknowledged.

  • Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that might influence the interpretation of results.

  • When research involves human subjects, authors must confirm compliance with ethical standards and obtain informed consent.

For Editors:

  • Editors must evaluate manuscripts solely on academic merit, relevance, and originality, without discrimination based on authors’ race, gender, institutional affiliation, or other personal characteristics.

  • Editors must ensure confidentiality throughout the review process and handle submissions responsibly and fairly.

  • Decisions on acceptance, revision, or rejection must be transparent and based on reviewers’ recommendations and the editorial board’s judgment.

For Reviewers:

  • Reviewers must provide objective, constructive, and timely feedback to improve the quality of submissions.

  • Reviewers must treat manuscripts as confidential documents and must not use unpublished material for personal advantage.

  • Reviewers must disclose any conflicts of interest that may affect their impartiality in reviewing a manuscript.

JDAM is committed to addressing cases of unethical behavior, including plagiarism, data falsification, duplicate publication, or unethical research practices. If such misconduct is identified, the editorial team will follow COPE guidelines, which may include corrections, retractions, or other necessary actions.

Through these ethical principles, JDAM seeks to promote integrity, accountability, and scholarly excellence in the field of administration and management.
